PHENOL FORMALDEHYDE MODIFIED ROSIN ESTERS

Bluebell offers Phenolic modified rosin ester resins from very high melting-low viscosity grade to low melting-low viscosity grades with specific properties to suite each specific application. The applications are high gloss paper varnishes, letterpress and lithographic inks, primers, undercoats. They are also suitable for high gloss heat/cold set and web offset inks for their solvent release properties and in screen inks for their handling and weathering resistance. Generally they impart tough, glossy finishes with good chemical resistance. They are compatible with alkyds and other resins to produce high gloss inks with good rub-resistance.
